TODAY’S TOPIC: CARRIER OF SWEETNESS

SCRIPTURE: “And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.” (Judges 4: 4)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The oppression of Jabin, King of Canaan, against the children of Israel continued until Deborah arose. The name Deborah, like we earlier observed, means bee. One major thing a bee is known for is honey. Honey is a sweetener. So, put differently, the person who led the fight for the liberation of Israel was one whose life produced sweetness. The one who defeated the enemies of God, was one who produced sweetness.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your life will produce sweetness all year long. Tales of good news and increase will be heard in your dwelling. You will be known as that one whose life is synonymous with glad tidings of great joy. You will be a source of sweetness to people around you.
